A little more than a week ago I purchased an iphone 3Gs from AT&T. Years ago I had the original Iphone and loved it. I unfortunately had to take it back due to service issues inside the manufacturing plant that I was working for at the time. Since I am no longer working for this employer, I decided it was time to go back but this time get the best available, the iphone 3Gs-32GB.
This is an absolutely amazing device. From speed to call quality to graphics. Hands down best phone I have ever owned. After spending $300.00 I knew right away what my next purchase had to be. Case. I browsed all over the internet trying to find the best available protection for my iPhone.I eventually came across my final choice. I ended up purchasing an Otterbox Defender case in white for $53.00 shipped over night.
When the case arrived the next morning I was very happy to see that what I bought was indeed a great purchase. For those of you who aren't familiar with the Otterbox name i'll give you some background information. Otterbox is a company who produces and sells cases for numerous devices with over the top protection. If you're someone who does a lot of outdoor activities or just someone who likes to know their device is always safe, this is your company.
This particular case had more than one level of protection. First, the case had a hard shell that covers the phone back to front. It's a two piece operation that clicks into place. With this on alone, you'd be safe dropping the phone from your second story window. Next, there is a second layer that folds over the hard shell and covers every port on the phone. This feature is what sold me on this case. In addition, the cases hard shell has a built in membrane that covers the screen and rear cutout for the Apple symbol. The iPhone does not lose any responsiveness when using the screen at all. Lastly, a very stylish and comfortable holster is involved. The phone stays snug the entire time it is holstered and looks good too.
In conclusion, I have been using this case for over a week now and I love it. It gives me all the protection I need and then some. I would recommend this case to anyone who has an iPhone and is looking for the maximum protection.
